Multimedia and Computer Room:
In this room we have 92 Windows PCs, 4 Macintoshes and presentation system by 6 plasma displays. All PCs are connected to the Internet and LAN. All of the students full utilize these facilities during classes and by themselves for obtainment the side effect information of medicines and their studies etc. They are used various installed applications to prepare thesis and net surfing. And all of the students have own E-mail accounts, they are permitted to communicate with teachers during the week and they also enjoyed being able to communicate with many friends instantly.


Library in General Information Center:
There are 4 Windows PCs for searching system of bibliotheca in this library. In 2 rooms multimedia systems are available for video and CD study to all students. In the reading room students are able to connect Internet and LAN by their own laptop PCs via any reading desk equipped with information outlet.


Servers Room:
This is an engine room of the LAN system of Kyoritsu College of Pharmacy. The LAN and related platforms constitute in this room. We have many servers, CA on CD, SciFinder, Medline as databases for investigations and also have Study Subjects of teachers, Lookout of Network, Fire Wall systems and so on. Especially for students, National Examinations database for diplomat of pharmacist are arranged.

Abstract:

Computer Education in Kyoritsu College of Pharmacy -Ability in Search, Write and Dispatch-
Kyoritsu College of Pharmacy was established in 1930 as Kyoritsu Womenfs PharmacistsfSchool. The College is a private institution in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and is now regarded as one of the most influential colleges for those aspiring for a pharmaceutical career. Emphases are placed not only on education but also on high-level research work in various fields of pharmaceutical sciences. We have the Kyoritsu College of Pharmacy network (KPNET II) at present. There are over 100 computers in Multimedia and Computer Room. All PCs are connected to the Internet and LAN. All of the students full utilize these facilities during classes and by themselves for obtainment the side effect information of medicines and their studies etc. All of the students have own E-mail accounts, they are permitted to communicate with teachers during the week and they also enjoyed being able to communicate with many friends instantly.
